Pulsed LED illuminator SSSOT-001X is ideally suitable for experiments on photobiology of plants. It has two focused LED sources providing illumination within a band of 30 nm near the peak at 455 nm (Royal Blue) within a tightly focused spot (3-mm size) with a maximum intensity of 100 mW/sq.cm. Timing and brightness of the sources is controlled by a controller.  It is also possible to change the mode of illumination: sequential or simultaneous. The spectral band and intensity of the illuminator ideally matches the spectral sensitivity of plants.
